It is He who comes, He comes, there He comes.
It is He who comes, He comes, there He comes.

The flowers of the white creeper fall.
The jasmine flowers in the garden are falling—
The jasmines have all disappeared.
Where have their morning blossoms gone?
The chrysanthemum stretches her arms,
The chrysanthemum opens her arms,
Calling Him with a smile
Inviting Him with a smile.

The tender rosebuds are blossoming.
Rosebuds are blooming.
The ginger flower is intoxicated with life.
The swaying champak's heady aroma fills the air.
The honey bees, full of hope,
And buzzing bumblebees, full of hope,
Rush soaring towards the sky.
Drift skyward.

The cloudless sky is speckled with smiling stars,
In the cloudfree sky, stardust sparkles.
Keeping awake until He comes.
All the stars are alert for His arrival.
