Idea and Ideology is a book published for the first time June 5, 1959, in Jamalpur (India) and it's part of the vast literary heritage of the philosopher and social reformer Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar aka Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (1921–1990).

The book, dedicated "to the sacred memory of Pandit Ram Chandra Jha", is a collection of speeches and consists of 112 pages. It delves into the concept of creation, mind evolution and formation of Ideas and concludes by using the spiritual vantage that has been gained to focus on the social problems of the earth. The author classified "Idea and Ideology", as the darshana shástra, or the philosophical treatise of the socio-spiritual organization Ananda Marga which he founded in 1955. The volume has been translated into several languages.
