At the shore of the sea, during evening,
Mid a throng of water-lilies at twilight's lake,
in the collection of lotus flowers,
Whose fragrance keeps on floating?
whose fragrance goes on floating?
From close-by, I fancy He's gone faraway;
when near, i think he has gone far
Eyes catch no sight when places distant going.
and so far that the eyes cannot see.

far or near is my thinking,
It's my imagination: near and far;
nothing of yours comes or goes.
Does Your anything arrive or depart?
Under the illumination of intellect
By the light of intellect, eyes looking I stay;
i try to see with eyes,
I fail to consider: Intellect is at Your mercy.
never thinking that the intellect

is granted by your mercy.
You had come from some beginningless state;
you arrived here from a state of no beginning
And You keep sailing on a stream of always.
and go on floating in the stream of infinity.
Birth and death, the firmament's horizon,
the beginning or end, sky and horizon,
In my conception, where do they disappear?
in my concept, get lost.
