In this chapter Sarkar discussed three different methods of salutations— 1) sáśt́áuṋga prańáma [prostration], 2) carańa sparsha prańáma [bowing and touching the feet] and 3) namaskára [salutation].<ref name="EE" />

Sarkar told Sáśt́áuṋga prańáma is the symbol of simplicity and it is to be done only to Marga Guru. This salutation signifies surrender to the ideology. Women should do salutation by touching the ground with the forehead instead of full prostration.<ref name="EE" />

Next Sarkar described Carańa sparsha prańáma. He told it means to touch the feet of a revered person with one’s hands and then to touch one’s forehead with those same hands. This type of salutation should be done only to those who command high regard from the worldly or spiritual viewpoint. Sarkar suggested never to do carańa sparsha prańáma to people whom someone does not regard, whoever they may be.<ref name="EE" />

Sarkar told Namaskára is done by bringing the palms together and touching the ájiṋá cakra [the midpoint of the eyebrows] with the thumbs, without bowing. This salutation can be done to everyone regardless of his or her age,  because this mode of salutation is used with the ideation that everyone is the manifestation of the Supreme Being.<ref name="EE" />

In this chapter after discussing three types of salutations Sarkar talked on shaking hand and ''kurnish'' too. Sarkar suggested not to do shake hand with everyone, as it is unhygienic. Sarkar also warned not to do ''kurnish'', as it is a form of slavery.<ref name="EE" />
