Ramananda Avadhuta is a senior monk and direct disciple of Ananda Marga. He was directly initiated by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar and served for a long time as his personal secretary. Currently he is working in Ananda Nagar, Purulia District, West Bengal.

Ramamnanda was born in an orthodox Brahmin family. He was ver fond of meeting saints and monks since his childhood. He was believer of God and specially a worshipper of Hindu god Shiva.
