The Manual of Style (often abbreviated MoS or MOS) is a style guide for all Sarkarverse articles. It helps editors write articles with consistent, clear, and precise language, layout, and formatting. The goal is to make Sarkarverse easier and more intuitive to use. Consistency in language, style, and formatting promotes clarity and cohesion. Writing should be clear and concise. Plain English works best; avoid ambiguity, jargon, and vague or unnecessarily complex wording.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Sarkarverse Manual of Style is identical to the Wikipedia Manual of Style.

Over-linking

Shortcut:

Generally a term should be linked once or twice (or maximum thrice if the article is very long). No term should be linked more than thrice in an article, regardless of the article's size or the term's importance.

Wikipedia-linking

Shortcut:

In Sarkarverse we sometimes link words to articles on Wikipedia. Such links should only be to articles that are very significant in the current context. In general, do not link common words like English, United States, Life, Car, and so on.

Special characters

Shortcut:

In general, avoid the use of special characters (especially characters that are not commonly found on an English keyboard). If there is no loss of clarity (in the English context), Samskrta diacritical marks (ucis and nicis) may be omitted. Never include special characters in article titles; because article titles with special characters may be difficult for readers to find with the Sarkarverse search engine, commonly used for navigation.
