Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that the Supreme Controlling Faculty is a singular entity. He then explains that all attributions belong to Him. Sometimes we undergo pain, sometimes pleasure; but there is only one entity who controls the universe and its laws through the aid of the Operative Principle. Anandamurti goes on saying that [[Parama Purusa]] is always with us individually and collectively. The Supreme hides behind His creation and we are to seek Him through [[Sadhana]].<ref name="AV1"/>
