O lord,
From often musing on You, say what fruit will be,
what is the use of my constant thinking of you,
Though You did not come to my dwelling.
of my meditating on you,
I think I will not think, but still why do I think?
if you do not appear in my home?
Come and inform me.

Come and tell me
Aglow, the lamp of hope had been sustained;
whether i should remember you
A garland of flowers had been arrayed.
whether i have to remember you,
In mind-blossoms at a garden solitary,
and how i am to do it.
Nectar had been kept replete.

I kept burning
What I am to do or not to do, declare right away;
the lamp of my hopes,
Surrender's formula kindly inculcate.
and beautifully arranged
Sitting in meditation-pose with ardent psyche,
my garland of flowers.
I would hold on to Thee.

In a solitary garden,
I kept my mental flowers full of sweetness.

What i should do and what not,
only you are to tell me.

Impart to me the mantra of surrender.
In seclusion,
in meditative posture,
I long to catch hold of you.
