O lord,
Do say, will anyone attain You by intellect's ability?
who can attain you
Everyone gets intellect only by Your mercy.
by the power of intellect?

All attain their intellect by your grace only.
Many times I have paid a visit to this Earth;
Everything I have viewed with intellect's assessment.
At each step what I've known is my own ignorance...
I've understood that You're the essence of existence.

Many a time did i come to this earth
In my eyes and face, in my conduct, ignorance I have hid;
and again left,
Neath the vile yoke of that veil, I've become degraded.
and observed it all with my intellect.
Now I've received awakening, and I've fathomed only this:

Grace unmerited, it descended.
On each step of mine,
I realised my ignorance.
I came to the conclusion
that, in this world,
You are the only essence.

I used to conceal this ignorance
on my face,
on my eyes
and in my conduct.

And due to the load of agony,
caused by this concealment,
I used to decline further.

When i attained intuition,
then i understood,
that yours is a non causal grace.
