Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Tomár nayan tale sab kichu nece cale
Tomár carań tale avanii bahiyá jáy
Phele ásá dinguli, geye ásá gánguli,
Kahe ásá katháguli, tomáte mishiá jáy,

Katabár esechi, necechi, geyechi,
Kata bhálobesechi, kata máyá chinŕechi,
Kata khelá khelechi, tomá páne calechi,
Calite calite, dhará dhuláy mishiyá jáy

(Tabe) Dhulár e dharańii tomá cháŕá hoyeni
Tomár chande se je amrte bhásiyá jáy,

Before Your eyes everything moves and dances.
Under Your feet the whole universe flows.
The days that are past,
The songs that are sung
The words that are spoken
All have merged in You.
Many a time I came and danced and sang.
Many a people I loved.
Many a time I broke the bonds of ma'ya' (the illusory world).
Many a game I have played.
For long I have been moving towards You.
In this flow of movement
all things return to dust.
But this dusty earth is never without You.
It flows in Your rhythm towards immortality.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song.[3]

Whatever one thinks, whatever one sees, whatever one says, all these expressions are rhythmic expressions. And these rhythmic expressions come from You, remain with You, and go back to You. Whatever was said, millions of years ago, was sung or was expressed, all is still there in the storage of the cosmic mind. No vibration is lost forever. Do not think that anything is lost. Nothing is lost; nothing dies forever. And that is why all the rhythms of this universe – all the celestial rhythms, and all the mundane rhythms – flow towards You. You are the ultimate goal. You are the Supreme Desideratum. Everything moves towards You. Everything moves towards the supreme source of immortality.
