O lord,
You have come and granted mercy;
You came and graced,
With Your smile, light You've been casting.
and, by your smile,
You have loved and shown the path;
You spread light.
You have brought adherence with firm hand.

You loved, showed us the path,
The world had been engrossed in sin;
and brought about firmness of control.
Lost were friendship, kindness, and discernment.
Then You struck a blow, dabbed with affection;
You have been awakening dharmic consciousness.

The earth lay submerged in darkness,
With both hands You pulled back the dark curtain;
devoid of feelings of friendship and kindness,
Thoroughly You laid waste to dogma.
and of sence of discrimination.
In those psyches budding and resonant,

The place made at their core You have taken.
You struck a blow,
absorbed it in affection,
and awakened the consciousness of dharma,
the natural path.

You removed the dark curtain with both your hands
and rooted out inertial dogma.

You took your seat
in the blooming
and resonating recess of minds.
