Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that [[:wikipedia:Tantra|Tantra]] means liberating the mind through its all round expansion. Anandamurti then says that when a spiritual aspirant makes an effort to enlarge her/his mind, two antagonistic forces (demeaning versus pure and uplifting) show up within and without the mind, in every sphere of existence. The spiritual aspirant will have to wage a war against all debasing forces. Anandamurti goes on explaining that a spiritual aspirant is a practical person whose approach is subjective: moving towards Paramátman (Supreme Soul). Out of bliss were all created and all seek to remain in eternal happiness. Anandamurti then says that the intellectuals try to grasp the infinite Lord with their limited brains while devotees surrender to God's omnipotence. The dialogue between the Lord and His children is affectionate and loving. Anandamurti goes on saying that the best thing to do when one has some free time is to gather with devotees and sing the name of the Lord (Kiirtan).
