Anandamurti then explains that ''avidyamaya'' is the force that broadens the angle of radius between the Lord and the devotee, while ''vidyamaya'' shortens it. Both are useful for maintaining balance in the universe. Praise or punishment are for good reason. Anandamurti goes on explaining that the greatness of God cannot be conceived by unit beings.
