The ten-faced demon is nothing else but the base propensities of the mind, which function in all the ten directions. “Marańam” means “death”. When you take shelter in Parama Puruśa, Rávana dies. So in Him lies the death of all evil forces, all depraving propensities. Hence, He is “Rávanasya marańam”, He is the death of Rávana. Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that Human intellect is limited and therefore their ability to measure or judge anything in the world is also limited. Brhat means an entity so great beyond the scope of evaluation. Not only great but has the capacity to make others great is Brahma. Anandamurti then explains that  that nature can't be the creator of everything. The reason is that nature is a physical force guided by Supreme intelligence. No physical force or Human limited intellect can produce such a well-ordered universe. Anandamurti goes on saying that human thought is able to speculate for only as much as it captures in the external world. Devotees understand that everything is an expression of love given by God who remains beyond the intellect. AS such, not attained in the realm of thought, He instills an endless desire to attain Him. In such away Human Beings become greater.<ref name="AV4"/>
