Vaeragya (renunciation) is when a person had realized the temporary nature of colors associated with different objects of this world, and their mind is no longer influenced by them. One's mind is associated with the entity free of any bondage and perennial, the Supreme Consciousness (Brahma). Anandamurti goes on saying that acquiring virtue is what makes people enjoy the positive fruits of their actions. Nevertheless, this will not lead them to salvation.
