O lord,
Upon a summit very lofty,
for whom are you sitting on the peak of the mountain?
Are You seated for somebody's sake?
Please come down quickly, and graciously look
Dust-covered is humanity;
towards the downtrodden humanity, which is lying in the dust.
Please do come down, post-haste.
Human beings have forgotten that they are human beings.
They are floating useless, imaginary lighted balloons in the sky.
Please come, and wake those who have lost their senses
due to the extreme influence of avidya maya, ignorance, and vanity.
In your mind there should not be any dilemma
whether the opportune moment has come or not.
This creation, which has been created by you;
You yourself will have to save.

The time for descending upon this earth has come.
Humankind have forgotten they are human;
And to row the boat of humanity in the proper direction,
They have feigned [[:wikipedia:Sky_lantern#India|paper balloons]] on imaginary heavens.
You yourself will have to hold the oars in your own hands.
In self-centered thought they have lost their senses;
You please come awaken them.

At Your fore, certainly there are not two courses;
Saving Your created earth is that which just must happen.
The time of Your descent, it has mattered;
With Your own hand, take the helm of this ship.
