Notes
- ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
- ^ North, east, south, and west.
- ^ According to the Samsad Bengali-English Dictionary, in Bengali folktales, the manapavaner dáṋŕa (মনপবনের দাঁড়) is an oar that may be used to propel a boat at any speed and in any direction one wants. Here, that concept is taken metaphorically and given spiritual significance by placing the oar in the hands of Paramapuruśa.
