Andhara sheshe alora deshe is the third song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2][3] It is also known as Navyammanavatader Giita (song of Neohumanism).[4]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋdhára sheśe álora deshe
Aruń bhorer kathá
(Bhai) Shonabo sabái d́eke d́eke

Táráy bhará oi je ákásh
Gandha madir ei je vátás
Sabár májhe ámi áchi
Phuler parág mane mekhe

Carań tale ei je mát́i
Nikhád sonár ceyeo kháṋt́i
Sabuj cháyáy mrger máyáy
Nácche nútan abhiśeke

At the end of darkness, in the realm of light,
Behold, the crimson dawn—
Brothers, I call on everyone to pay heed.

The sky is studded with stars;
The air carries a heady fragrance.
I mingle with everything,
Pollinating the mind.

This earth on which I walk
Is purer than pure gold.
In its green shade all creatures are nurtured.
They dance anew, abluted.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song—[4]

Darkness has come to an end, crossing the threshold at the edge of light. Now is the proper time to call all and announce that the crimson dawn has come. The beautiful sky is studded with so many stars, the air is sweetly scented. The atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere everything is closely related to me. All the flora and fauna I must preserve; I must save them from premature extinction, because I love everything of this earth. I am a neohumanist. I call one and all to come and create a new rhythm.
