Asbe bale gecha je cale is the 301st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ásbe bale gecha je cale
Kena ele ná balo ámáy
(Dharár dhuláy) Mishe geche háy
Phuler pápŕiguli gáṋthá máláy

(Ogo akaruńa) E kii liilá tava
Bhálabásár chale liilá abhinava
Cale gecho jabe kena ácho tabe
Jege ámár mane divánisháy

(Bhulite jata cái) Bhulite náhi pái
Smrtir dyuti dekhi jedike tákái
Kena beṋdhecho more surera jhaḿkáre
Bhávera táre táre manoviińáy

O lord, you told me you would return,
but you did not do so.
Please tell me why.
The petals of the floral garland
that once was in my hand,
alas, are now covered by the earth's dust.

O unmerciful one!
What is this game of yours?
Is it a new play of cheating in love?

You went away,
yet, day and night,
You remain ever awake in my mind
why is this so?

No matter how much i try to forget you,
I am unable to forget you.
Wherever i look at,
the reflection of your memory shines forth.

Why did you tie me unto you
with a jingling melody,
using the strings of my psychic lyre?
