Abhimáne ámi múk mukhe chinu
Tumi cale gele bahú dúre
Bahú dúre prabhu bahú dúre

Áj páshe baso áro káche ese
Dhyánamájhe baso mrdu hese hese
Abhimán nái sadá gán gái
Tomári surete báṋshi pure
Báṋshi pure prabhu báṋshi pure

Runu jhunu jhunu tomári núpure
Man theke geche bhare bhare
Bhare bhare prabhu bhare bhare

ভরা বাদলে তুমি এসেছিলে
এসেছিলে প্রভু সুরে সুরে
অভিমানে আমি মূক মুখে ছিনু
তুমি চলে গেলে বহু দূরে
বহু দূরে প্রভু বহু দূরে

আজ পাশে বসো আরো কাছে এসে
ধ্যনমাঝে বসো মৃদু হেসে হেসে
অভিমান নাই সদা গান গাই
তোমারই সুরেতে বাঁশী পুরে
বাঁশী পুরে প্রভু বাঁশী পুরে

রুনু ঝুনু ঝুনু তোমারই নূপুরে
মন থেকে গেছে ভরে ভরে
ভরে ভরে প্রভু ভরে ভরে

O lord, when you came the clouds were filled with melody.
I was egoistically silent; you went away very far.

Today, sit close to me,
come near me
and remain in meditative posture with a gentle smile.
Now, there is no ego.

I keep on singing songs to the tune of your flute.
The jingling sound of your ankle bells has filled my mind.
