Lord, You captured my heart
Lord, You captured my heart
Amid the stormy hurricane.
Amid stormy hurricanes.
Stay in the white lotus of my mind
Stay in the white lotus of my mind
Every instant, age after age.
Every instant, age after age.

Many an evening and many a crimson dawn,
Many a twilight and crimson dawn,
Many a starlit night have passed.
And many a moonlit night have passed.
Now is the time, oh resplendent one,
Now is the time, my Lord of Light,
To meditate on one who is timeless.
For meditation on that which transcends time.

Into my life and mind,
Into my life and mind,

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Dhará dile tumi prabhu
Jhaiṋjhá jhaŕer májhkháne
Theko maner shvet kamale
Yuge yuge sarva kśańe

Kata sandhyá ráuṋá prabhát
Geche kata ná jyotsná rát
Halo samay he jyotirmay
Kálátiiter abhidhyáne

Mor práńe mor mane
Esechile saḿgopane
Gopane sei ásá tava
Jánilo ná vishvajane

Lord, You captured my heart
Amid stormy hurricanes.
Stay in the white lotus of my mind
Every instant, age after age.

Many a twilight and crimson dawn,
And many a moonlit night have passed.
Now is the time, my Lord of Light,
For meditation on that which transcends time.

Into my life and mind,
Stealthily You entered.
Of Your visit,
No one in the universe knew.
