Eso go dúrera baṋdhu hiyára madhu
Tomári tare málá geṋthechi
Áji e phálgunii váy man káre cáy
Jene niyechi

Sakala práńer eki baṋdhu
Sabái káche cáy je shudhu
Mahákáshe ekt́i vidhu
Sab tárá cáy táre káchákáchi

Ámio tái cái ná dúre
Rekhe dite ár táháre
Ámár maner mańiháre
Tár galáy paráte jege áchi

এসো গো দূরের বঁধু হিয়ার মধু
তোমারই তরে মালা গেঁথেছি
আজি এ ফাল্গুনী বায় মন কারে চায়
জেনে’ নিয়েছি

সকল প্রাণের একই বঁধু
সবাই কাছে চায় যে শুধু
মহাকাশে একটি বিধু
সব তারা চায় তারে কাছাকাছি

আমিও তাই চাই না দূরে
রেখে’ দিতে আর তাহারে
আমার মনের মণিহারে
তার গলায় পরাতে জেগে’ আছি

O lord,
O distant friend,
with the sweetness of my heart,
I threaded a garland for you.

Today,
in the spring breeze,
I came to know who it is
that my mind wants.

There is only one companion
for all living beings.
It is he alone who all want close.

In the vast sky,
there is only one moon,
whom all want closer.

Therefore,
I do not want to leave you distant any longer.

I keep awake
to place my garland of gems
around your neck.
