O lord,
As I will dress You, make You wear my wreath,
after much effort i have gathered
I've gone and brought flowers for Thee.
and carried home flowers.

to decorate and garland you,
Among them I have strung some [[wikipedia:Neolamarckia cadamba|kadam]].

shall i thread upon my garland:
Hair I have braided atop my head.

Thinking of You, I've grown intent;
interspersed with kadamba flowers.
With such a mind I have filled a flower basket.{{#tag:ref|According to the [https://dsal.uchicago.edu/cgi-bin/app/biswas-bengali_query.py?qs=%E0%A6%A1%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%B2%E0%A6%BE&searchhws=yes Samsad Bengali-English Dictionary], ''d́álá'' (ডালা) is a tray-shaped basket that typically is used for holding offerings to a deity.|group="nb"}}

I danced into the forest,
From the forest I came back, chuckling;
having braided up my tresses,
Your loving image in my mind, ever it did please.
my mind absorbed in your thought.
When no one else was on this earth, I was still with Thee;
For you alone did i arrange my flower-laden tray.
So in my meditation it's just to You I cling.

Laughing, i returned home from the forest;
as visions of your loving gaze still danced before my eyes.
When there was no one on this earth,
You alone existed.
That is why, in meditation,
I adore you.

Sajabo bale mala parabo bale is the 522nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sájábo bale málá parábo bale
Tor lági phul ámi enechi
Kanakcáṋpá ár jhará baul go
Májhe májhe kadam phul geṋthechi

Nácte nácte gechi vaner bhitar
Binuni geṋthechi máthár upar
Tor kathá bheve bheve utalá je man
Sei man niye d́áláy phul bharechi

Van theke phirechi háste háste
(Tor) Bhálobásár chavi bhálte bhálte
Jakhan keu chilo ná ei dharáte tui je chili
Tái toke dhyáne dharechi

As I will dress You, make You wear my wreath,
I've gone and brought flowers for Thee.
Frangipani and fallen bakul blossoms,
Among them I have strung some kadam.

To dance and dance I've gone into forest;
Hair I have braided atop my head.
Thinking of You, I've grown intent;
With such a mind I have filled a flower basket.[nb 2]

From the forest I came back, chuckling;
Your loving image in my mind, ever it did please.
When no one else was on this earth, I was still with Thee;
So in my meditation it's just to You I cling.
