আঁধার নিশায় তুমি আলো
মরুর রুক্ষতায় শ্যামল মায়ায়
প্রাণভরা ভালবাসা ঢালো
সব কিছু নিয়ে নাও বাকি রেখো না
প্রাণের পরশ শুধু দিও

অশনিনির্ঘোষে বজ্র জ্বালাও
বরষায় কেতকী তুমি সম
সুবাসে স্নিগ্ধ বহো সুশীতল বায়
আশ্বাস আনো মম
তুমি যে আলম্বন মনের আভোগ
তুমি মোর আদরণীয়

In the heat of sun, my shady protection;
In the dark of night, You are the light.
In lush verdancy and desert drought,

In rain's downpour, like screwpine[nb 2] You thrive.
You ride cool winds in pleasant fragrance,
