Upon the withered branches, by leaves tender and fresh, It proviided a loveliness new and sweet. The mango boughs were flowering; Bakul blossoms infused beauty. On the silk-cotton trees rise flowers red, And fire was bestowed by the bastard teaks. Outdoors was Nature in a new-dyed dress; And within mind, a forest stag dances. In this spring month with its honeyed excitement, Everything of mine took He.
