O lord, watching your arrival path,
Having watched Your arrival path
my days are passing.
My days they go by.
tell me, when my restless mind
The mind is effusive; when, pray tell,
would see the ray of hope?
Will I see hope's ray of light?
there is no drowsiness in the eyes.

i find the bed like thorn.
On eyelids there's no urge to sleep;
Restlessly i am running around
The bed I find it thorny.
to come close to you.
I rove with anxiety;
in my mind there is only one thought,
For getting You close by.
liberate me from that thought

coming close to me.
Just one concern is within psyche,
i do not find nectar
Mine is only that...
in the light of the moon.
Kindly free me of that worry;
there is no sweetness in the honey.
To me please come proximate.
i always revolve around one,
From the moon's light no nectar do I glean;
that one is dear to all.
And inside honey no sweetness is there.
Around the One am I revolving constantly;
That one is everybody's Valentine.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár ásár patha ceye
Din cale jáy ámár
Udvel man balo kakhan
Dekhbo álo áshár

Áṋkhipáte tandrá je nái
Shajyákańt́aka sama pái
Udvelatáy ghure beŕái
Tomáy káche páoyár

Maner májhe ek bhávanái
Shudhu ámár áche
Se bhávaná mukta karo
Eso ámár káche
Cáṋder áloy sudhá ná pái
Madhute madhuratá nái
Eker ghore áchi sadái
Se ek priya sabár

Having watched Your arrival path
My days they go by.
The mind is effusive; when, pray tell,
Will I see hope's ray of light?

On eyelids there's no urge to sleep;
The bed I find it thorny.
I rove with anxiety;
For getting You close by.

Just one concern is within psyche,
Mine is only that...
Kindly free me of that worry;
To me please come proximate.
From the moon's light no nectar do I glean;
And inside honey no sweetness is there.
Around the One am I revolving constantly;
That one is everybody's Valentine.
