O Lord, I wanted You secretly,
Secretly, Yourself have I desired
silently in the depth of the mind.
Silently inside a deep cranny of mind;
Nobody belongs to me other than You.
No one else do I have except for Thee.
You alone are eternal in the three worlds;
I have borne so much scorn and torment–
all innumerable others revolve
Filling heart, I have only wept;
in circle around You.
To wipe the eyes I don't find anybody.
That is why I want to attain You.

You exist in begininglessness and endlessness
In the three worlds,{{#tag:ref|The entire universe, described metaphorically as "three worlds" (Heaven, Earth, and Hell).|group="nb"}} only You are immortal,
and pour love onto the meager atom.
Exceptional, not numbered in ignorant.
Hence in pain and pleasure I sing Your glory.
And so it's You alone I ever wish to receive.

You are beginningless, with no finish;
Among atoms, love You have lavished.
Hence in gladness and in woe, Your virtue I sing.

Tomay ceyechi ami gopane is the 3047th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáy ceyechi ámi gopane
Niirave maneri gahane
Tumi cháŕá ámár ár keha nái
Láiṋchaná klesh kata sayechi
Paráń bhariyá shudhu keṋdechi
Áṋkhi muche dite káreo náhi pái

Triloke tumi shudhu sháshvata
Bákii cakre ghore agańita
Táito sadái tomákei pete cái

Anádi asheśe tumi ácho
Ańur májhe bhálabása d́helecho
Tái sukhe duhkhe tomár guńa gái

Secretly, Yourself have I desired
Silently inside a deep cranny of mind;
No one else do I have except for Thee.
I have borne so much scorn and torment–
Filling heart, I have only wept;
To wipe the eyes I don't find anybody.

In the three worlds,[nb 2] only You are immortal,
Exceptional, not numbered in ignorant.
And so it's You alone I ever wish to receive.

You are beginningless, with no finish;
Among atoms, love You have lavished.
Hence in gladness and in woe, Your virtue I sing.
