:: Namaskar, Tito. I am so glad to know that someone is actually thinking about my sometimes cryptic remarks. As I read this song, it is a tale of lover's pique. The devotee steadfastly awaits his/her Lord, but the Lord does not come. Frustrated, the devotee resolves to wait no longer. But despite that resolution, s/he still finds herself/himself gazing toward His arrival path, admitting that: "I keep open my heart's gate." Of course, there's more to this song than its storyline. Implicit is the realization that ultimately, without Him, nothing in life has meaning. --[[User:Abhidevananda|Abhidevananda]] ([[User talk:Abhidevananda|talk]]) 10:29, 14 August 2018 (BST)
