O lord,
Having crossed the sea of form,
I attained you
Formless Thee I have found.
crossing the ocean of forms.
Beyond drowsiness and rivalry,
Through rows of waves, I have seen.

Beyond dilemma and drowsiness,
I did not find You in philosophy,
I saw the multiplicities of waves.
Nor did science describe Thee.
With love's enchanting cords,
I've realized in honeyed thought.

I did not get you in philosophy
With incense, lamps, and flower baskets,
and neither do the sciences know you.
And with formalistic worship...

With prayers in rigid language,
With the charming thread of love,
You do not submit, I have noted.
I came to know you in sweet ideation.

I accept that with the paraphernalia of incense,
lamps and bouquets of flowers,
with ritualistic worship,
with offerings and language-bound prayers,
You do not come into fold.

Ruper sagar periye ese is the 1601st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Rúper ságar periye ese
Arúp tomáy peyechi
Dvandvátiita tandrátiita
Úrmimáláy dekhechi

Darshanete páini tomáy
Vijiṋán jánáy ni tomáy
Bhálabásár mohan d́ore
Madhur bháve jenechi

Dhúpe diipe phuler d́áláy
Ánuśt́hánik pújárcanáy
Bháśáte báṋdhá prárthanáy
Dáo ná dhará menechi

Having crossed the sea of form,
Formless Thee I have found.
Beyond drowsiness and rivalry,
Through rows of waves, I have seen.

I did not find You in philosophy,
Nor did science describe Thee.
With love's enchanting cords,
I've realized in honeyed thought.

With incense, lamps, and flower baskets,
And with formalistic worship...
With prayers in rigid language,
You do not submit, I have noted.
