The boat of white clouds
Upon a blue sky floats adrift,
goes on floating into the blue sky.
A white-cloud raft.
Down below is grass,
Amid the grass below is woven
mixed with crowd of tall plants and shrubs.
A crowd of kush and kash.

The winter says,
Autumn declares: "I did appear,
“i have come, kissing the soft cool dews and snow.
Bracing and cool, a frosty kissing.
Those who come to me, i swing them, too.
By my side, those who happen,
Them also I made to wag.

I have brought with me the bouquet of shefali flowers
"I've brought night-jasmine with me,
full of fragrance.
A tray of flowers, fragrance-brimming.
In the silent night, in this isolation,
On silent nights, hush-hush this is
I thread the garland of songs.
To wreathe a choral garland."

Niil akashe cale bhese is the 2067th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Niil ákáshe cale bhese
Shádá megher bhelá
Niice gháse áche mishe
Kush-kásheri melá

Sharat bale elum ámi
Snigdha shiital shishir cumi
Ámár páshe járá áse
Táráo dilo dolá

Sauṋge enechi shephálii
Gandhe bhará phuler d́áli
Niirav ráte ei nibhrte
Gáṋth-te gáner málá

Upon a blue sky floats adrift,
A white-cloud raft.
Amid the grass below is woven
A crowd of kush and kash.

Autumn declares: "I did appear,
Bracing and cool, a frosty kissing.
By my side, those who happen,
Them also I made to wag.

"I've brought night-jasmine with me,
A tray of flowers, fragrance-brimming.
On silent nights, hush-hush this is
To wreathe a choral garland."
