I think of that only,
I've mused on that alone, only that have I dreamt,
which my mind is unable to think of.
What the mind cannot consider.
I wanted to find moon in the dark cave
I've wished to receive the moon in a dark recess,
and a water fountain in the desert.
A waterfall amid the desert.
Whatever I could imagine,

I continued to get more than that.
What I've fantasized, I have gotten in excess;
In the darkness, I could see
Assemblage of a hundred moons I have seen in darkness.
collection of hundreds of moon.
A sweet fount in crater's mouth I have witnessed,
In the volcano I saw
That which is a kindness unearned.
fountain of sweet water,

which is nothing but causeless mercy.
Myself, I've gone missing on obtaining happiness;
I have lost the pleasure of achievement
I have been inundated by a thought-current.
and become restless with the flow of feelings.
From thinking and reflection, That I have experienced,
During meditation
What through scripture can't be learned.
in the mind I could know Him,
which cannot be known through scriptures.

Ami tai bhevechi tai bhevechi is the 3129th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámi tái bhevechi tái bhevechi
Man já bhávite páre ná
Áṋdhár guháy cáṋde pete ceyechi
Maru májhe niirajharańá

Já bhevechi tatodhik peye gechi
Shata vidhu samáhár áṋdháre dekhechi
Jválámukhiite svádu jharańá dekhechi
Já ahetukii karuńá

Páoyár ánande háriye gechi
Bhávaná dháráy udvel hayechi
Manane o anudhyáne táke jenechi
Shástre já jáná jáy ná

I've mused on that alone, only that have I dreamt,
What the mind cannot consider.
I've wished to receive the moon in a dark recess,
A waterfall amid the desert.

What I've fantasized, I have gotten in excess;
Assemblage of a hundred moons I have seen in darkness.
A sweet fount in crater's mouth I have witnessed,
That which is a kindness unearned.

Myself, I've gone missing on obtaining happiness;
I have been inundated by a thought-current.
From thinking and reflection, That I have experienced,
What through scripture can't be learned.
