Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár tare vishva ghure
Beŕiyechilum shudhu shudhu
Pái ni tomár dekhá kotháo
Pái ni ámár maner madhu

Nánán jane nánán bale
Keu bá vrithá tarke tole
Keu máne darshane vijináne,
Jáy ná dhará tomáy vidhu

Jináner punji neiko ámár
Jáni shudhu tumii je ár
Jharale tomár kańá kripár
Tabei tomáy pávo bandhu

O lord, for you i simply wandered
throughout the world.
neither i could see you anywhere
nor i could get the honey of my mind.
different people talk differently,
some people assess with logic and reasoning.
some people accept the philosophy and science,
but you do not come into fold, o lord.
i do not have asset of knowledge,
i only know that you are the essence.
only when your wee bit of grace would shower,
then i shall attain you, o friend.
