O Lord, for You
For the sake of only You, Lord,
innumerable ages have passed.
Many ages have elapsed...
Many sleepless nights have passed
Many sleepless nights
flowing tears profusely.
And many tears have passed.
Like flow of rains, my tears have flowed.

Like the fragrance of ketakii flower,
Like a stream of Shravan
they float away far in the rain.
My tears, they have fallen...
Still You do not come,
Like unto the screwpine pollen
Never in the core of my mind,
With the rain they've floated a great distance.
the strings of viin’a’ have sounded

and floated with the song.
Despite the fact You did not come
And never did it ring out at heart-core...
On the strings of this my veena,
That song has moved along buoyant.

Tomari tare prabhu is the 3100th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomári tare prabhu
Kata jug cale geche
Kata vinidra ráti
Kata áṋkhivári bayeche

Shrávańer dhárá sama
Áṋkhijala jhareche mama
Ketakii parág sama
Varaśáy dúre bheseche

Ásoni tumi tabu
Bájeni marme kabhu
Ámár e viińár táre
Se giiti bhese caleche

For the sake of only You, Lord,
Many ages have elapsed...
Many sleepless nights
And many tears have passed.

Like a stream of Shravan
My tears, they have fallen...
Like unto the screwpine pollen
With the rain they've floated a great distance.

Despite the fact You did not come
And never did it ring out at heart-core...
On the strings of this my veena,
That song has moved along buoyant.
