Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Gáner rájá tumi práńe ele
Marma májhe dhvani jágále
Chande sure bhuvan pure
Eki jhauṋkáre man mátiye dile

Anádikál theke gán tumi gáo
Kona sthitite virati ná dáo
Asheś anante bhásiyá cale jáo
Balo ná trpta hao kii je pele

Tomáy pábo ámi gán shuniye
Maner doláy tomáy duliye diye
Sab kichu bhule giye tomáy niye
Thákibo dine ráte kálákále

Into life You came, oh King of Song;
Sound You roused amid heart's core.
With rhythm and melody filled is the cosmos;
With such jingle, mind You made absorbed.

From time out of mind a song You do sing;
In any state or condition You don't cease.
To an endless Infinite You go on floating;
You don't say, "Be satisfied with what you got."

I will realize You, having heard the song,
In the mental cradle, by Yourself swung.
Everything having ignored, but with You along,
I will stay day and night, opportune or inauspicious.
