Maner mayúr tomár tare Úrdhve ceye nece jáy Jáne ná se kon ajánáy Tháko tumi niráláy Kona mánái máne ná se Gharer bándhan bándhabe ki se Valgávihiin turag sama Ajáná kono pathe dháy Priitir d́ore bándhá pare Sab bádhá kei tuccha kare Durdam dhúma ketur sure Chande tále giiti gáy	মনের ময়ূর তোমার তরে ঊর্ধ্বে চেয়ে নেচে' যায় জানে না সে কোন অজানায় থাক তুমি নিরালায় কোন মানাই মানে না সে ঘরের বাঁধন বাঁধবে কি সে বল্গাবিহীন তুরগ সম অজানা কোন পথে ধায় প্রীতির ডোরে বাঁধা পড়ে সব বাধাকেই তুচ্ছ করে দুর্দম ধূমকেতুর সুরে ছন্দে তালে গীতি গায়	O lord, high up towards you, the peacock of the mind goes on dancing. it does not know to which unknown place you are dwelling in isolation. it does not heed to any prohibition, how the domestic bondages can tie that? like a bridle less horse, it rushes towards some unknown path. when tied with the rope of love it ignores all restrictions. with the beats and rhythm of insuppressible comet, it sings song.
