Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kon ajáná jagat hate ele ele
Rúpe ráge bhare dile
Dúrke nikat́e t́ene nile nile

Tomáre ceyeche sabe maner gahane
Mukhe ná bolileo bheveche gopane
Hrdayer sab áshá sab bháśá bhálobásá
Randhre randhre jágále

Járá chilo paŕe dúre elo man mukure
Snigdha garimáy nácilo chande sure
Sabáre saḿge niye sabáre priiti diye
Vishva samáj gaŕile

O Lord, from which unknown world You came
and filled here beauty and melody,
pulling the distant ones close.
All want You in the depth of mind,
even without speaking,
all desire You secretly.
Now, You have awakened
in each pore of the heart
all hope, love and language.
Those who were left far,
came into mental mirror,
dancing with rhythm and melody
gently and gracefully.
Taking all together,
bestowing love,
You created universal society.

Recordings

Currently, only the following rough audio rendition is available. The quality of the recording is reasonable; but the word hate in the first line is sung repeatedly and incorrectly as theke. Though the meaning may be the same, in deference to the composer this should be corrected.
