Upon withered branches, with leaves tender and fresh, A new and sweet beauty did it provide. The mango boughs were flowering; Bakul blossoms infused beauty. On the silk-cotton trees grow flowers red, And fire was bestowed by the bastard teaks. Outdoors was Nature in a new-dyed dress; And within mind, a forest stag dances. In this spring month, by honeyed excitement, Everything of mine took He.
