Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ajánári sure báṋshii púre púre
Ke go tumi ele mor mane
Jániye áso ni ese jánáo ni
Tandrá bháuṋgále shiharane

Prathame kichui bhávite pári ni
Kii je haye gelo ábháso pái ni
Tárpare dhiire anubhúti ghire
Ut́háiyá dile spandane

E anubhútir tulaná mele ná
E shudhu ahetukii karuńá
Sakal jukti apará shakti
Carańe lut́áy hár mene

O lord, playing unknown melody
on the flute all over,
who is that you who came
into my mind.
under my knowledge you do not come
and even after coming you reveal.
you broke my drowsiness with quiver.
initially, i could not think any thing.
what has happened that hint also
i could not get.
then slowly, surrounding with experiences,
You woke me up with oscillations.
the comparison of that experience
is not found.
that is only your causeless grace.
all reasoning and mundane powers
accept defeat and fall at your feet.
