Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Álo eseche ghum bheuṋgeche
Phuler vane rauṋ legeche
Nidrita chilo je kali kamal
Madhute upce paŕeche

Rauṋer nimantrań ghare ghare
Jiivaner spandan pale prahare
Práńer ávirbháv thare thare
Ákáshe vátáse bhare ut́heche

Áṋdháre káṋdte ár habe ná
Mukharatáy tiktatá rabe ná
Bhálabásár bháśá debe prerańá
E diipánvitá já racaná kareche

The light came and broke the slumber.
in the flower garden, new colour came.
the lotus buds that were sleeping
are now overflowing with honey.
the invitation of colour reached each home,
the vibration of life is felt each moment,
the sky and air is now full of vivacity
generated in layer after layer.
now there will no more cries due to darkness.
no bitterness will remain in expression.
the language of love will provide inspiration.
this illumination is due to the creator.
