নদী পাহাড় বনেরা সব

ফুলে ভরা এই ফাগুনে
একলা টি বসে’ বিজনে
কোন্‌ সে সুজন যাহার পানে
চেয়ে প্রীতির ডালা ভরে’ নাও

The flow of effulgence,
touching my cheeks,
asked me:

"where are you drifting away to?
The planets, stars, nebula look at you.
Why do you not see them, tell me.

The rivers, mountains and forests,
all want to engaged with you.
Not paying heed to them,
whose songs are you singing?

In this spring full of flowers,
sitting alone in solitude,
who is that good person
for whom you kept these floral gifts of love?"
