Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámi bhuli ni tomáy
Tumi bhule gecho je more
Je phul jharechilo tarura taláy
Viithi táre satata smare

Je rauṋ rauṋin karechilo álo
Je priiti manete legechilo bhálo
Resh tár madhu tár
Ekhano kśare

Je mádhurii mane chilo áṋká
Je baláká melechilo pákhá
Smrti tár druti tár
Kabhu ki sare

I did not give up on Thee,
But You have gone and forgot me.
The bloom that had fallen neath a tree,
Vista remembers it constantly.

Color that had painted light,
A love that had felt good inside the mind,
A remnant of that, its honey,
To this day it is oozing.

Sweetness that was sketched on psyche,
A flight of geese that had spread wing,
The memory of that, its speed,
Does it ever recede?
