Nijere áŕále lukáye rekhecho
Dúre theke d́áko hese hese

(Tava) Adharer oi hási
Tava asiima rúpera ráshi
Mor mana práń halo udásii
Ámi kon srote jái bhese

(আমি) এসেছি তোমারই আশে
তোমারেই ভালোবেসে
তোমারই চরণ পাশে

লীলা-মধুতে ধরা ভরেছো
নিজেরে আড়ালে লুকায়ে রেখেছো
দূরে থেকে ডাকো হেসে হেসে

(তব) অধরের ওই হাসি
তব অসীম রূপের রাশি
মোর মন-প্রাণ হলো উদাসী
আমি কোন্‌ স্রোতে যাই ভেসে

O Lord,
with hope and for you only,
I have come
to love you
and to be near your feet.

You filled the world
with your sweet and divine game.

And yet,
You keep yourself hidden behind all.
You smilingly call from the distance.

Observing your unlimited beauty,
and the smile on your lips,
my mind and heart lose themselves,
and i float adrift in an unknown stream.
