Jeneo tomáy bhule tháki
Bháśár bháve kaluś d́háki
Áṋkhi mude mari keṋde
Bheve nijer kapat́atá

আমি তোমায়
জানি জানি সে কথা
ধরার আলো তুমি সবার
তুমি প্রাণের মধুরতা

তুমি আছ তাই ধরা রয়েছে
আলো হাওয়া জীবন আছে
তোমার তালে নেচে' চলেছে
সব সত্তার সজীবতা

জেনেও তোমায় ভুলে' থাকি
ভাষার ভাবে কলুষ ঢাকি'
আঁখি মুদে' মরি কেঁদে
ভেবে' নিজের কপটতা

O lord, i am yours,
i know this fact.
you are the illumination
of all on the earth.
you are the sweetness of the life.
you are present,
as life of all existence;
hence the world, light, air
and life exist and dance
to your rhythm.
even after knowing You,
i forget you, covering with dirt
the language and feelings.
keeping the eyes closed,
thinking of own cunningness,
i continue crying to death.
