Andhara sheshe alora deshe is the third song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2] It is also known as Navyammanavatader Giita (song of neohumanism).[3]

Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Áńdhára sheśe álora deshe
Aruń bhorer kathá
(Bhai) Shonaba sabáy deke deke

Táráy bhará oi je ákásh
Gandha madir ei je vátás
Sabár májhe ámi áchi
Phuler parág mane mekhe

Carań tale ei je mát́i
Nikhád sonár ceyeo khánt́i
Sabuj cháyáy mrger máyáy
Nácche nútan abhiśeke

Calling all, I will sing the glories of this crimson dawn
in the kingdom of divine light,
beyond the threshold of darkness.

The sky above is studded with stars,
The air is intoxicated with fragrance.
With all entities I exist,
anointing my mind with the pollen of flowers.

This earth on which I walk
is purer than the purest gold.
In its green shade,
all creatures are cherished.
It dances, blessed with new life.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song—[3]

Darkness has come to an end, crossing the threshold at the edge of light. Now is the proper time to call all and announce that the crimson dawn has come. The beautiful sky is studded with so many stars, the air is sweetly scented. The atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere everything is closely related to me. All the flora and fauna I must preserve; I must save them from premature extinction because I love everything of this earth. I am a NeoHumanist. I call one and all to come and create a new rhythm.
