Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Arúp ratan tumi vishvamohan
Káche eso kena dúre tháko
Mátiye rekhecho tumi e tribhuvan
Áṋdhár pátháre álo jvele rákho

Tomár sakal kichu aparimeya
Sattár madhuratá anapaneya
Giite sure ráge viińá bhare
Nityakále pathe sabáre d́áko

(Prabhu) Tumi je ámár ámi je tomár
Sakal jyotiśke basati ámár
Deshe pátre kále nijere bhule
Jaŕiye paŕechi e kii dekho náko

O the formless, unique gem,
enchanter of the world,
come close, why are You staying away.
You have kept this threelayered universe
intoxicated and kept the light glowing
on the dark path. everything of yours
is unlimited; the sweetness of existence
is ineffaceable. Overwhelming the viin’a’,
with songs, tunes and melody, you call
all onto the proper path all the time.
o lord, i am yours and you are mine,
my abode is on all the shining stars.
forgetting myself from the bonds of
the place, time and person, i rest,
do not you see that?
