O Lord, You had come, appeared in illumination,
As hope made manifest You appeared;
but why did not You come into the fold of my mind?
Why did You not yield to psyche?
I have longed for You wholeheartedly in meditation,
In meditation I have craved wholeheartedly;
yet why did not You even look at me?
Nonetheless, why did You not gaze at me?
Watch me with merciful eyes

and keep me under Your shelter.
Look on with eyes of kindness, sheltered do keep me;
Thus I would get absolute tranquility
Lord, when You wish, I will obtain supreme peace.
if You desire so.

You are one without a second in beauty,
In beauty unique, with virtue fit to be esteemed;
most revered for Your attributes,
Worthy of everybody's worship, universally revered.
adorable and worshipped by all
in the whole universe.

Ashe chile prakashe ele is the 2737th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áshe chile prakáshe ele
Kena mane dhará náhi dile
Mane práńe ceyechi dhyáne
Tabu kena tumi ná tákále

Cáho karuńá nayane rekho ámáre sharańe
Pará shánti pábo prabhu tumi cáhile

Rupe tumi advitiiya guńe ádarańiiya
Sakaler varańiiya vandita nikhile

As hope made manifest You appeared;
Why did You not yield to psyche?
In meditation I have craved wholeheartedly;
Nonetheless, why did You not gaze at me?

Look on with eyes of kindness, sheltered do keep me;
Lord, when You wish, I will obtain supreme peace.

In beauty unique, with virtue fit to be esteemed;
Worthy of everybody's worship, universally revered.
