O lord,
He will come... when you are not
if you will not come,
Watching the path... only then, why?
why then should i look onto the path?
To smile, when you've forgot...
So why keep calling day and night?

If you have forgotten how to smile,
The south wind, blowing it goes on;
why do you call me day and night?
When summoned, it does not respond.
Love knows, but system ignores...
So why for Him singing of songs.

The southern wind goes on blowing,
The bumblebee, into each ear she states:
and does not respond to the call.
Love gives; love does not take.

All those acquainted with Him...
He knows love,
They say His maya is impassable.
yet ignores formal expressions.
Why then sing songs for him?

The honeybee whispers into my ears,
"offer love but do not accept it."

The one with whom is the introduction,
says that the divine play is insurmountable.

Asibe na tumi jadi is the 1590th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ásibe ná tumi jadi
Kena tabe pathapáne cáoyá
Hásite bhule gecho jadi
Kena divánishi d́eke jáoyá

Dakhiná pavan baye jáy
D́ákile se sáŕá náhi dey
Priiti jáne riiti bhule jáy
Kena tár tare gán gáoyá

Bhramará káne káne kay
Priiti dey priiti náhi ney
Tár sáthe jár paricay
Se bale alauṋghya se máyá

He will come... when you are not
Watching the path... only then, why?
To smile, when you've forgot...
So why keep calling day and night?

The south wind, blowing it goes on;
When summoned, it does not respond.
Love knows, but system ignores...
So why for Him singing of songs.

The bumblebee, into each ear she states:
Love gives; love does not take.
All those acquainted with Him...
They say His maya is impassable.
