Áshár pradiipkháni niviyá geche
Phuler parág kothá bhásiyá geche

Álo áṋdháre cale tomár liilá
Sabáy niye sadá karicho khelá
Kabhu d́hálo madhu kabhu náo go shudhu
(Phal) Pábai jakhan phul jhariyá geche

Tava rathacakra sadá ávartita
Duhkhe sukhe parivartita
E sab jáni bujhi nai ácambita
(Dekho) Jhará bakul tava máláy eseche

বকুলের ফুলগুলি ঝরে পড়েছে
আশার প্রদীপখানি নিবিয়া গেছে
ফুলের পরাগ কোথা ভাসিয়া গেছে

আলো-আঁধারে চলে তোমার লীলা
সবায় নিয়ে সদা করিছো খেলা
কভু ঢালো মধু কভু নাও গো শুধু
(ফল) পাবই যখন ফুল ঝরিয়া গেছে

তব রথচক্র সদা আবর্তিত
দুঃখে সুখে পরিবর্তিত
এ সব জানি বুঝি নই আচম্বিত
(দেখো) ঝরা বকুল তব মালায় এসেছে

O Lord,
the bakula flowers have all withered away.

The lamp of hope has become extinguished.
The fragrances of flower pollen
have drifted away.

Your divine game goes on
in light and shade.
You constantly play with all.
Sometimes you fill us with honey,
sometimes you take away our everything.

Now that the flowers
have withered away,
I shall get fruits.

The wheels of your cart
go on revolving continuously.
But joy and sorrow alternate.

As i know the cause that lies behind it all,
I am not surprised.

Look, the bakula flowers that withered
have again taken shape in your garland.
