What a call to me! it pulls me through the melodies of the flute,
Myself in tow to the bamboo pipe's many melodies,
making my mind disregard any bondage. through the gaps of smile,
Mind does not recognize any kind of constrainment.
who brings call to me, what a call for renouncing and sacrificing all?
In between laughter's gaps brought was the calling;
It calls me through the pollen of flowers, when the flowers bloom layers
Everything torn asunder, what's this wondrous invitation!
by layers. what should i do sitting without responding to it, the feet

are rushing. o lord, you are mixed with sky and air, and go on floating
The pollen of flowers summons me,
in the firmament of the heart. the mental peacock dances by spreading
Blooms having blossomed at every tier.
its tail on getting his vibrations.
Should I tarry, not responding, what is achieved?
No, I proceed double-time, rapid ambulation.

With the sky and air has it kept on mingling;
Upon heart's firmament it has gone a-sailing.
Now the psychic peacock tail has got unleashed,
Having found in song and dance only its vibration!

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Báṋshiir sure sure more t́áne
Man ná máne kono bandhan
Hásir pháṋke pháṋke d́eke áne
Sab cheṋŕá e kii áváhan

Phuler paráge d́áke more
Phul phut́iye thare thare
Sáŕá ná diye tháki kii kare
Chut́e jái jhat́iti carań

Ákáshe vátáse mishe rayeche
Hrdákáshe bhese caleche
Maner mayúr kaláp meleche
Náce gáne peye tári spandan

Myself in tow to the bamboo pipe's many melodies,
Mind does not recognize any kind of constrainment.
In between laughter's gaps brought was the calling;
Everything torn asunder, what's this wondrous invitation!

The pollen of flowers summons me,
Blooms having blossomed at every tier.
Should I tarry, not responding, what is achieved?
No, I proceed double-time, rapid ambulation.

With the sky and air has it kept on mingling;
Upon heart's firmament it has gone a-sailing.
Now the psychic peacock tail has got unleashed,
Having found in song and dance only its vibration!
