Jáni tumi bhálo báso ná
Kena bhálo bási tár kichui jáni ná
Bhálo ná bese pári ná

Kusum jáne ná bhramar kena táre cáy
Bhramar jáne ná surabhi je d́áke táy
Caiṋcala hrdayer udvela bhávanáy
Juktitarkátiita eśańá

Tatat́uku bheve tháki ámi jatat́uku bujhi
Cini náko tabu tomákei sadá khuṋji
Kena ei khoṋjákhuṋji bale dáo saojásuji
Man niye koro náko chalaná

ভালো বাসি আমি প্রিয়
জানি তুমি ভালো বাসো না
কেন ভালো বাসি তার কিছুই জানি না
ভালো না বেসে’ পারি না

কুসুম জানে না ভ্রমর কেন তারে চায়
ভ্রমর জানে না সুরভি যে যে ডাকে তায়
চঞ্চল হৃদয়ের উদ্বেল ভাবনায়
যুক্তিতর্কাতীত এষণা

ততটুকু ভেবে’ থাকি আমি যতটুকু বুঝি
চিনি নাকো তবু তোমাকেই সদা খুঁজি
কেন এই খোঁজাখুঁজি বলে’ দাও সোজাসুজি
মন নিয়ে কোরো নাকো ছলনা

O dear, i love you but know that you do not love me.
Why i love him, i do not know at all, but i am unable to
stop loving him. the flower does not know, why the bee loves it.
The bee does not know that the fragrance attracts it. they do
not know the overwhelming ideation of the restless heart and
the earnest desire beyond logic and reasoning. i stop thinking
after what i understood. even though i do not recognize you,
still always search you. do not play delusive game with my mind.
